Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, a Level I Trauma Center with 53 beds and fast-paced care. The ED handles trauma, stroke, cardiac and critical cases, offering strong teamwork and rapid patient turnover.

Requirements include RN license, BSN/MSN preferred, BLS within 90 days, and ED experience preferred. Competitive pay ($41.93–$61.01/hr) with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred
• Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care.
• Support trauma, cardiac, stroke, and critical-care patients with timely interventions.
