Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This full-time, 36-hour-per-week position offers an evening shift from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with every other weekend required and holiday rotation.

You will work in a Level I Trauma Center with a 53-bed ED, under Magnet designation, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Qualifications include RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• BSN preferred; students may be considered.
• BLS within 90 days of hire; NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency department care in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Grow clinical skills in trauma, stroke, cardiac, and critical care.
