Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, a Level I Trauma Center, nights 7p-7a. Join a high-performing team delivering rapid, high-quality care to trauma and medical emergencies.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing is required.
• BSN/MSN in preferred.
• RN license required; BLS within 90 days of hire; NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED.
• Collaborate with trauma, critical care and specialty teams in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered care while ensuring safety and timely interventions.
