Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking an Evening RN for the Emergency Department on W Memorial Rd in Oklahoma. This full-time role (36 hours/ week) runs 1pm–1am, with responsibilities spanning nursing process, patient care, and coordination with other departments.

As a new graduate friendly opportunity, it requires BLS certification and an active RN license in the state or compact licensure, with physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform mobility tasks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN licensure in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Physical requirements include lifting 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking, and mobility tasks.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
