Job summary

Mercy Hospital – W Memorial Rd in Oklahoma City is seeking new graduate nurses for an evening shift (1pm–1am), full-time, 36 hours per week in the Emergency Department. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, collaborate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

The role requires graduation from an accredited RN program, active RN licensure or compact licensure, and BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensure: Maintain current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for provision of care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments; protects patient rights and confidentiality.
