Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health’s Lake Pointe ED in Rowlett, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts in a fast-paced ED with a Level 3 trauma center. Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required; sign-on bonus of $10,000 available for external candidates.

The unit handles pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with a patient ratio of 1:4-5 and about 100 patients daily; benefits include relocation assistance and generous RN bonus programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of true, recent Emergency Department RN experience.
• BLS certification required (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• TNCC certification or obtain within 18 months of hire.
• ENPC certification or obtain within 18 months of hire.
• RN License in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ED for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and coordinate with EMS.
• Support patient flow and ensure safety and trauma criteria.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in continuous improvement.

Our Emergency Department unit is a Level 3 trauma center, Chest pain accredited center, stroke receiving center, average 100 patients per day, around 20-30 EMS ambulances per day.
