Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department, night shift, with a strong background in comprehensive patient assessments and care planning. You will administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, holistic care.

The role requires at least 1 year of RN ED experience, a current RN license, and BLS certification.

EKG knowledge and life support requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate them regularly.
Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective teamwork.
