CGH Medical Center in Illinois is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications and IV therapies, and contribute to the nursing care plan within a fast-paced specialty unit.

Responsibilities include accurate charting, patient/family education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality outcomes. Employment includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates with 1+ year of experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Illinois RN Licensure.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• BL S within 30 days and maintained.
• Experience with drawing blood preferred.

Responsibilities

Shares responsibility with other health care disciplines. Reports to Department of Nursing Director. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*** Ensures optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process.* Maintains patient records and documents to ensure an accurate record of the patient’s medical and nursing care.
