Job description

PeaceHealth is seeking an RN - Emergency Department for a part-time, 0.60 FTE, night position. The salary range for this role is $47.40 – $74.48, with the hiring rate depending on factors such as education, experience, and collective bargaining agreements.

This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. There may be multiple openings for this role.

PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend is a state-of-the-art regional medical center focused on evidence-based design, patient-centered care, quality outcomes, and safety.

The RN will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with the care team, and ensure compliance with standards and policies. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, documenting care, delegating tasks, participating in quality improvement, and managing complex cases such as anticoagulant reversal and blood pressure abnormalities.

Qualifications include:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Specialty certification preferred
• At least one year of recent ED experience in a similar-sized, trauma-level 2 or higher ED, preferably at a Magnet or academic hospital
• Current RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire
• ACLS required at hire; TNCC, PALS, or NIHSS within specified timeframes
• Additional certifications such as ENA, SANE, TCAR, or PCAR are preferred
