The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure. BLS/ACLS/PALS and TNCC/ENPC certifications are expected within specified timeframes, and prior acute care or ED experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN) required.
• BSN preferred.
• One year of current acute care RN or ED experience or licensed military RN experience required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required upon hire or within one year.
• PALS certification required upon hire or within one year.
• TNCC or ENPC required upon hire or within 24 months.

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Requirements

• Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience:

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year
