Job summary

St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center in downtown Boise is seeking an Emergency Department RN to join our patient-centered team. The 27-bed ED operates with a 1:4-6 nurse-to-patient ratio and is supported by an ED pharmacist and a 24-hour social worker to ensure high-quality care.

The role offers sign-on and relocation assistance, continuing education scholarships, and certification pay, along with a robust benefits package designed to support professional growth and personal wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Experience: 1+ year RN experience; ED experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure; BLS Provider certification through AHA or Red Cross.

• Provide patient-centered emergency department care in a 27-bed unit with a 1:4-6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Collaborate with ED pharmacist and 24-hour social worker to support patient care.

What you can expect from this role

• 27 bed unit with 5 chest pain beds
• Team-based nursing model (1:4-6 ratio)
• Dedicated ED pharmacist and 24-hour social worker

Qualifications
