Job summary

St. Luke’s Fruitland Emergency Department in Idaho is hiring registered nurses for a 0.9 FTE, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, rotating nights and mids. You’ll join 3 RNs on duty with a dedicated Charge Nurse and 24/7 support from LAB, Medical Imaging, and RT.

Education: ADN required, BSN preferred; RN license in state; BLS certification required. This role offers competitive pay and a robust benefits package, including certification pay and on-site wellness resources.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree required, Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred.
• Experience: 1+ year RN Experience; Emergency Nursing highly preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

• 3 RNs 24/7 with one of them as dedicated Charge Nurse
• 2 RNs that come in and work shifts to help cover busier times
• LAB, Medical Imaging, RT available 24/7
• Self-scheduling in 6-week blocks
• This is a 0.9 Full-time variable shift; 3 x 12 hour shifts/week, toggle between nights and mids (1300 and 1900)

St. Luke's Fruitland Emergency Department

is in the West Treasure Valley and our only stand-alone emergency facility. Fruitland is a scenic rural town snuggled along the Snake River. It has many orchards that remain in the area adding to the country charm. The small rural community is part of an area that is growing and gives a small town feel with lots of amenities in town or just across the bridge in Oregon. Ongoing commercial development brings new jobs and growth to the area. The housing market remains stable compared to other areas of growth.
