Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license (multi-state compact and/or single-state) to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Engage patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Promote safety and ethics per ANA Code of Ethics.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
