Job summary

River Grove Health & Rehab is seeking an RN Educator to lead staff development, orientation, and ongoing clinical education. You will deliver engaging in-service trainings, support recruitment efforts, and partner with leadership to foster a culture of excellence and resident-centered care.

As the RN Educator, you will mentor staff, maintain education documentation, and promote best practices while ensuring compliance with regulations and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervision and teaching in healthcare.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care facilities.
• Ability to mentor staff and collaborate with leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new hire orientation with welcoming and organized introductions.
• Plan, develop, and deliver clinical education programs and in‑service training.
• Assess educational needs and design training initiatives for competency and growth.
• Maintain documentation of education, training, and attendance for survey readiness.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to align education with facility goals and resident care.
• Support recruitment efforts and participate in interviews and onboarding.
