Job summary

Potomac Center/SETT in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a part-time instructor to teach CNA classes to staff and provide hands-on CNA skills training at our MDH-SETT 1380 Marshall St. The role includes preparing clinical assignments and evaluating student progress while ensuring compliance with Title 17 Maryland regulations.

The position requires an active RN license in Maryland and the ability to conduct evaluations, with Train the Trainer certification preferred and prior CNA teaching experience

Qualifications

• RN license required per Maryland State Board of Nursing licensing requirements.
• Experience teaching CNA classes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses to staff in accordance with approved course requirements.
• Provide hands-on Certified Nursing Assistant skills training.
• Prepare clinical assignments and convey them to students/staff.
• Give verbal and written feedback to students; prepare them to sit for the GNA exam.
• Conduct evaluations of lab and skill requirements for students/staff.
