Job summary

The position requires a Nursing degree, BLS certification, and a minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience. This is a staff, full-time role with 36 hours per week in day shifts, supporting regulatory readiness and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement unit-based education programs including orientation and competency validation.
• Evaluate effectiveness of education programs using outcomes and performance data.
• Provide direct patient care while acting as a clinical education resource for high-acuity nursing practice.
• Collaborate with unit leadership to identify learning needs and performance gaps.
• Lead orientation programs, including preceptor selection and progress evaluation.
• Support implementation of new policies, procedures, and equipment through education.
• Facilitate bedside coaching and re-education to ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate with academic partners, students, and clinical staff for education experiences.
• Participate in regulatory readiness and accreditation activities.
