Job summary

WellStar Health System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for evening shifts across the WellStar network. You will provide comprehensive ED care, triage, administer meds, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

The role requires an active RN license (GA or Compact), BLS/ACLS/PALS, BSN preferred; 2+ years ED RN experience; strong critical thinking and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ED RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required; BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC or ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care — assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with WellStar standards.
