Job summary

WellStar is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Pool. You will travel between WellStar facilities providing expert, patient-centered care in fast-paced ED settings.

Requirements include 2+ years of recent ED RN experience, GA or Compact RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS; TNCC/ATCN preferred. BSN preferred. Enjoy a dynamic role with ongoing learning across the WellStar network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC/ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond swiftly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per WellStar standards.

What You'll Bring:

Experience:

• TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN - Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cert preferred.
