Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for our floating/W.E.S.T. Float Pool across WellStar facilities in Georgia. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in fast-paced ED settings, traveling between campuses to meet staffing needs.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in ED nursing, an active GA or Compact RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS. Advanced certifications (TNCC/ATCN) are preferred, and the ability to thrive under pressure is

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of direct ED RN experience.
• Active RN license in GA or Compact licensure.
• BLS; ACLS; PALS; TNCC/ATCN required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care, including triage, assessment, intervention and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Respond swiftly to codes and critical events.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care-assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with WellStar standards.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience :Minimum 2+ years of recent, direct ED RN experience required.
• Education :Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) required.
• Required Licensure/Certifications :Active RN license
• (Georgia or Compact) required.
• BLS
• Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.
• PALS
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.
• TNCC
• Trauma Nurse Core Course or
