Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical/Virtual Nursing professional for a hybrid bedside and Virtual eAcute role at Cox South in Springfield, MO. You will split shifts between bedside care and the Virtual Command Center, supporting admissions, discharges, and care coordination with virtual physicians and pharmacists.

The role requires a Missouri RN license, 2+ years of nursing experience, and strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Two+ years of nursing experience required.
• RN license active in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with medical or surgical conditions.
• Assess patient condition, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document findings.
• Support admissions and discharges; assist with care plans and patient education.
• Collaborate with bedside nurses and the Virtual Command Center to ensure safe, efficient care.
