Job summary
CoxHealth is seeking a virtual nurse for their command center in Springfield, Missouri. The position supports a hybrid nursing model and involves monitoring patients, assisting bedside nurses, and collaborating with various healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
- Minimum of two years nursing experience on an inpatient unit.
- Charge nurse or preceptor experience and specialty nursing certification preferred.
- RN license active in the state of Missouri is required.
Responsibilities
- Support bedside RNs by completing tasks not required to be done in person.
- Develop and maintain care plans; provide patient education and discharge teaching.
- Coordinate care and participate in quality and patient safety surveillance.
- Mentor new nurses and implement evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with virtual physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist with admissions and discharges.
