Job summary

CoxHealth is recruiting a Virtual Med-Surg RN to join the Virtual Care Command Center at Cox South in Springfield, MO. This hybrid role combines bedside nursing with virtual support to monitor patients from admission to discharge.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of inpatient nursing experience, Missouri RN licensure, and strong communication and leadership skills. BSN preferred; certification and ladder pay opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Preferred: BSN

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharges
• Develop and maintain care plans
• Provide patient education and discharge teaching
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team
• Mentor new nurses
• Support bedside nurses with tasks and monitor patient safety
