Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's Degree of Nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience as an RN is required.
• Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects is required.
• RN licensure in Georgia and BCLS/ACLS/PALS required; CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The ED Patient Flow Coordinator manages overall movement of patients through the ED to ensure safe and efficient care.
• Coordinates patient care activities and acts as a liaison with ED medical staff to optimize flow.
• Delegates workload and serves as a role model for teamwork, leadership, and professionalism in the ED.
