Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Patient Flow Coordinator to oversee patient movement in the ED and coordinate care with the ED team. The role emphasizes safe, efficient throughput and staff collaboration.

Qualified candidates will have 1 year ED RN experience and current Georgia RN licensure, plus BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; QA/QI experience is a plus. This is an ED-focused leadership supporting dynamic patient flow.

Qualifications

• RN license (Georgia) and/or multistate licensure (NLC/eNCL) required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
• CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The ED Patient Flow Coordinator ensures safe, efficient movement of patients through the ED.
• Coordinates patient care activities and liaises with ED medical staff to optimize care delivery.
• Delegates workload and models teamwork, leadership, and professionalism in the ED.
