Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, GA, invites experienced nurses to join as the Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator. You will manage patient movement throughout the ED, coordinate care activities with clinicians, and serve as a role model for teamwork and professionalism in fast-paced environments.

The role requires RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and at least one year in the ED, with a preference for a BSN and demonstrated involvement in quality improvement

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience as an RN is required.
• Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects is required.
• RN — Georgia licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• CEN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ED patient flow and overall movement to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Liaise with ED medical staff to deliver timely care; delegate workload; model teamwork and professionalism.
