Job summary

Heritage Hall Blackstone is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead a compassionate care team in a long-term care setting. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate staff and advocate for residents under pressure.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN or BSN, an active Virginia RN license, and experience in long-term care. Strong communication, clinical knowledge, and the ability to make independent decisions are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have ASN or BSN degree from an accredited college.
• Must have an active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals.
• Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
