Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland is seeking a full-time, salaried RN Director of Private Duty to oversee our front-line home care team. Responsibilities include ensuring service standards, staff supervision, and coordination of scheduling, referrals, and clinical oversight.

Qualifications

• RN license in the State of Ohio
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a clinical setting
• Minimum 2 years' experience with home and community-based services
• Valid Ohio driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Ensures high-quality service standards and adherence to agency policies; supervises staff in home visits.
• Leads professional communications with clients, staff and stakeholders.
• Monitors client needs and supports recommendations.
• Reviews electronic documentation (OASIS and 485s).
• Oversees referrals acceptance and staff deployment.
• Ensures accurate home care scheduling and routing.
• Performs clinical assessments and visits (approx. 10–15% of time).
• Maintains knowledge of good clinical practices and provides guidance.
• Conducts service audits and prepares documentation for compliance and accreditation.
• Supports department performance improvement activities with leadership.
• Assists staff development and orientation.
• Understands home care funding and budgeting.
• Investigates complaints and incidents.
• Participates in agency committees and on-call rotation.
• Performs administrator duties if required.
• Undertakes other duties as assigned.
