Job summary

Saint Elizabeth Community in Rhode Island provides compassionate care across a continuum of services, including Assisted Living. Our 69-bed residence seeks a qualified nurse to maintain quality nursing services under the Director of Resident Care and Administrator, and to supervise staff.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, Rhode Island RN or LPN license, and strong communication skills, with the ability to manage resident care plans, administer medications, and participate in

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and eligible for Rhode Island licensure.
• State of Rhode Island Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit and bend; lift 50+ pounds to assist residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professionalism with residents, families and staff.
• Administer medications to residents and document accordingly.
• Delegate assignments to staff and update them as necessary.
• Attend nursing staff meetings and in-services.
• Complete and monitor monthly nursing staff schedule.
