Job summary

HallKeen Assisted Living Communities in Providence, RI seeks a Resident Care Director - RN to oversee the resident services department. The role ensures safe operation, staff supervision, and compliance with regulations and company policies.

The RCD will plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for each resident and coordinate with PCPs and families. The RN must hold a current Rhode Island license, complete required training, and be able to manage schedules and adapt to changing resident needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current license in Rhode Island.
• Certification or licensed per state guidelines.
• Must complete HallKeen specified training programs.
• Applied problem solving in standardized situations.
• Ability to work various schedules and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess clinical status of potential residents including nursing assessment and PCP consultation.
• Supervise medication management and assist residents with self-administration.
• Develop a service plan for each resident per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure coordination of health related services for residents.
• Provide ongoing supervision of nursing and resident care staff; train and orient new staff.
• Maintain staffing to safely meet residents' needs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Act as liaison with physicians and families; report significant changes to ED.
