South Lyon Senior Care & Rehab is seeking a Director of Nursing to plan, manage, and evaluate the 24-hour operation of the facility, ensuring quality resident care. This leadership role involves staffing, guiding, developing, and evaluating nursing personnel while upholding the Resident Bill of Rights and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
• Current Michigan RN license and CPR-BLS certification.
• 3–5 years of long-term care experience with 2+ years in an administrative role.
• Clinical knowledge of long-term care nursing.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage twenty-four hour operation and resident care.
• Supervise nursing team with direction, training, recognition, and evaluations.
• Assess residents and ensure care is delivered as directed.
• Implement standards via policies and maintain department records.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to resolve operational problems.
• Schedule staff meetings for planning and continuity of care.
