Job summary

Assisted Independence, LLC is seeking a Manager of Direct Supports to oversee DSP employees, plan and implement individualized supports, and ensure regulatory compliance in home and community settings. A nursing background is preferred to provide Medication Administration training as needed.

Responsibilities include staff hiring, training, scheduling, and ensuring services such as RHS, DHI, RSPO, PAC, and Transportation meet CARF and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to Indiana Administrative Code (IAC) 460-6.
• Must follow Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) and Bureau of Disability Services (BDS) rules.
• Comply with CARF accreditation requirements and participate in surveys.
• Document incidents with required details and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSP).
• Provide and oversee Residential Habilitation, Day Habilitation, and related supports (RHS, DHI, CHIO, RSPO, PAC, Transportation).
• Coordinate with care planning, attend individual planning meetings, and support Medicaid recipients per DDRS criteria.
• Maintain incident reporting, scheduling, and program documentation.
