Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Direct Support Professional Lead to empower individuals with developmental disabilities through direct care and focused support. You will oversee the department across shifts, mentor DSP staff, and help people set and achieve personal goals within their communities.

You will coordinate health and safety, document the care provided, and contribute to budgeting and department operations while promoting independence and community involvement for those supported.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driver's License: ND, upon hire and auto insurance upon hire.
• Preferred: one year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the department across shifts and ensure essential duties are completed.
• Directly support residents to achieve personal goals and participate in the community.
• Document accurately in records and training logs; supervise DSPs and coach in the moment.
• Ensure health, safety, and welfare of the person supported, including medications and health needs.
• Assist with budgeting and department finances, petty cash, and procurement as needed.
