Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for direct patient care in the acute setting. You will apply the nursing process from admission to discharge, perform assessments, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.

Current MA nursing licensure is required, BLS is mandatory, ACLS continuing education/certification as applicable, and unit-specific credentials may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active MA nursing license and registration.
• BLS required for all RNs; ACLS required/current.
• Unit-specific certifications and competencies as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, and coordinate nursing care in the assigned setting.
• Delegate tasks within scope of practice and competency.
