Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging for Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. This per diem/PRN role offers variable hours (0700-1530 to 0830-1700) with rotating weekends and on-call coverage during weekends and holidays.

Under general supervision, you will deliver nursing care per physician plans, assess patients, administer medications, and assist in imaging procedures. You will explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and support a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required).
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• Illinois RN licensure required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and lift 20+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per physician plans.
• Assess patient condition and monitor progress.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assist physicians with cases, procedures, or examinations.
• Maintain patient comfort, explain procedures, and answer questions.
