Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse – Diagnostic Imaging for Elmhurst Hospital to provide quality patient care on a per diem basis. Shifts include 0700-1530 to 0830-1700, with rotating weekends, on-call on weekends and holidays.

Under supervision, you will assess patients, administer medications, assist with imaging procedures, and support physicians while delivering attentive patient care and patient education to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and lift 20+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per physician treatment plans.
• Assess patient condition and administer prescribed medications.
• Develop or assist in patient treatment plans.
• Assist physicians with cases, procedures or examinations.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
