Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging to join Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL on a per diem/PRN basis. You will provide professional nursing care under physician plans, assist in imaging procedures, and support patient comfort while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role requires a BSN or higher, IL RN license, ACLS certification, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher required.
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
A relatively high level of analytical ability is required to interpret data and support clinical decisions.
A relatively high level of communication skills is required to lead, teach, and interact effectively in difficult situations.

Responsibilities

Render professional nursing care to patients under physician treatment plans and monitor progress.
Assist physicians with cases, procedures or examinations and contribute to patient care plans.
Explain procedures to patients and support customer service with attention to patient comfort and trust.
Perform tasks requiring physical activity and careful documentation of patient status and treatments.
