Job summary

Good Samaritan – Woodland in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the day shift to provide individualized care using the nursing process. The role involves collaboration with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.

The RN may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe, high-quality resident care. Full-time schedule includes 6:00am-2:30pm shifts, every other weekend, and a sign-on bonus where

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license for the state where practice occurs; multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized care.
Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
