Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the facility is located or in a compact state.
• Graduate nurses must complete licensure examination within six months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification as required by facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to a group of patients with independent judgment and collaboration with the care team.
• Delivers patient education and coordinates with families during episodes of care and transitions.
• Applies the nursing process to develop daily goals and a plan of care.
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement and governance activities.
• Maintains patient documentation to support safety, quality, and satisfaction.
