Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking an RN to provide patient-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, coordinate with the care team, and implement physician-directed treatments.

Responsibilities include administering medications, delegating tasks, and ensuring clear communication across shifts with patients and families. A state nursing license and CPR certification are required to join the team.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
