Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on a full-time basis in Massachusetts. You will utilize the Nursing Process from admission to discharge, perform assessments, and develop individualized care plans, including discharge planning, while coordinating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires current MA nursing licensure, BLS, and ACLS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process to deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge, appropriate to the patient population age.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individualized care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Documents patient care according to standard procedure.
• Develops, implements/coordinates and documents Education Plan for patient/family/significant other.
