Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care from admission to discharge, using the nursing process.

MA RN licensure with registration and BLS required; ACLS certification current or preferred; BSN highly preferred. Night shift with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
