The position requires a current Nursing license (NM or Compact), ADN, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) with CVL experience preferred. Competitive shift differentials and relocation bonuses apply.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (required).
  • Active NM or Compact RN License.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at hire.
  • One year CVL experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with catheterizations.
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Administering medications.
  • Supporting procedural teams.
  • Patient assessments and care planning.
  • Medication administration and moderate sedation.
  • Hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Circulating and scrubbing in EP and invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

Enhanced Sign-On & Relocation Bonus

This position is eligible for enhanced incentives for CVL-experienced nurses:

  • 0–2 years: $12,500 + $6,000 relocation (2-year commitment)
  • 3–4 years: $17,500 + $6,000 relocation (2-year commitment)
  • 5+ years: $22,500 + $6,000 relocation (3-year commitment)

Work Schedule Overview

  • Standard Schedule: Monday–Friday 4 ten-hour shifts (typically 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
  • Day off rotates based on call schedule
  • Shifts: 40 hours/week
  • Call Requirements: Nights, weekends, and holidays required
  • The call schedule follows a rotating 5-week cycle: On call every week 2 weekdays required; one weekend per month (FRI-Sun)
  • Everyone rotates the Call Dog- Must report to CVL within 30 mins of being called in
  • Call Pay: $4/hour
  • Callback Pay: Time and a half (minimum of 2 hours guaranteed) Even if the case is canceled, RN receives 2 hours at time-and-a-half
  • Differentials: Night differential Weekend differential
  • Call Hours: Monday–Friday: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour call) Holidays : 24 hour shift

A cardiac cath lab nurse specializes in:

  • Assisting with catheterizations Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures Administering medications Supporting procedural teams
  • Responsibilities Patient assessments and care planning Medication administration and moderate sedation Hemodynamic monitoring Circulating and scrubbing in EP and invasive procedures Patient and family education Maintaining accurate medical records Ensuring regulatory compliance
