Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit in Mesa, Arizona. You will provide critical care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery or with acute cardiac decompensation, and you will monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, and post‑operative recovery in a high-acuity ICU.

The role requires an RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and typically 1–2 years of ICU or CV nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required)
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages patients recovering from cardiac surgery, including chest tubes, drains, and pacing wires.
• Performs continuous hemodynamic monitoring and titrates vasoactive and inotropic medications.
• Manages mechanical ventilation and assists with weaning protocols.
• Recognizes and responds promptly to signs of cardiac tamponade, arrhythmia, or hemodynamic instability.
• Collaborates with surgeons, intensivists, and other disciplines on post-operative plan of care.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and patient response in the medical record.
