Role Overview

Nursing involves diagnosing and treating responses to health problems, establishing therapeutic relationships, and coordinating care. The RN CV ICU provides specialized care to severely ill or injured patients, practicing in an intensive care setting.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess patient and family needs, develop and modify care plans.
  2. Maintain proficiency through ongoing education.
  3. Implement evidence-based nursing practices considering current regulations.
  4. Collaborate with patients and families to set realistic outcomes.
  5. Ensure age, cultural appropriateness, and attainability of outcomes.
  6. Coordinate, delegate, and collaborate to ensure safe care.
  7. Fulfill organizational requirements.
  8. Perform supplemental roles such as Charge Nurse and Preceptor when applicable.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • Associate's or Vocational degree
  • 2 to 5 years RN experience
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0 to 2 years critical care RN experience
Licenses and Certifications
  • RN license in MN or WI, depending on location
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross, or in-house training within 30 days
  • ACLS certification upon orientation completion
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Critical Care RN or SCRN preferred
Physical Demands
  • Medium work, lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently
  • 12-hour night shifts, every 3rd weekend rotation
  • Start dates between July and September 2025
  • Full-time, 0.9 FTE
Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges from $41.67 to $69.39 per hour, with potential shift differentials. Benefits include medical, dental, PTO, retirement plans, life insurance, disability, tuition reimbursement, and more. We support your well-being through various programs and employee resource groups.
