Qualifications

Role Description

Nursing involves diagnosing and treating human responses to health problems, establishing therapeutic relationships, and coordinating patient care. This role provides specialized care to severely ill or injured patients, typically in an ICU setting.

Principle Responsibilities
  1. Assess patient and family needs; develop and modify care plans accordingly.
  2. Maintain proficiency through ongoing education and skills development.
  3. Implement evidence-based nursing practices considering current regulations.
  4. Collaborate with patients and families to establish realistic and measurable outcomes.
  5. Ensure care is age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, and attainable.
  6. Coordinate, delegate, and collaborate to ensure safe and effective care.
  7. Fulfill organizational requirements.
  8. Perform supplemental roles such as Charge Nurse and Preceptor as needed.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required: Associate's or Vocational degree, 2-5 years RN experience.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree, 0-2 years critical care RN experience.

Licenses/Certifications
  • Licensed RN in MN or WI, depending on location.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross, or in-house training.
  • ACLS certification upon hire.
  • Additional certifications like Critical Care RN or SCRN are preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Medium work, lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequently.
  • 12-hour day/night shifts, every 3rd weekend rotation.
  • Start between July and September 2025.
Employment Details

Part-time, 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per biweekly schedule, with benefits. Pay range: $41.67 - $69.39/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
