Minimum requirements include an Associate degree in nursing with one year of related experience; BSN preferred. Certifications such as BLS are required, with additional trauma and stroke education expected as applicable.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree in Nursing (required or equivalent).
• BSN preferred.
• One year related nursing experience required or training.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification.
• ATCN or TNCC preferred/obtainable within 1 year of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or obtainable by end of orientation.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process (assessment to evaluation).
• Collaborate with case managers and health team for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Develop and document discharge plans to support post-hospital life activities.
• Document changes and communicate effectively during handoffs.
