Job summary

Incredible Health in Washington, DC area seeks an RN - Critical Care to join our team. The role requires ADN or higher, an active RN license, and ICU experience; ACLS is preferred.

Shifts include day, night, and mid shifts, with full-time, part-time, and per-diem opportunities. You will monitor critically ill patients, manage life-support equipment, administer medications, collaborate with physicians, and educate families.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to function effectively under stress.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skill.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs, and intervene with appropriate care.
• Monitor and provide care to critically ill, unstable patients.
• Manage life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring.
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations.
• Administer medications and other treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about the condition and care plan.
