Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring RNs for the Critical Care unit in the Washington, DC area. Openings span day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per-diem opportunities.

Qualifications

  • ADN or higher nursing degree required.
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
  • 1+ year ICU/critical care experience preferred.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Ability to function under stress and make quick decisions.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly assess patient conditions, vital signs, and intervene with appropriate care.
  • Monitor and provide care for critically ill, unstable patients.
  • Manage life-support systems such as ventilation and heart monitoring.
  • Participate in rapid response and emergency situations.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and health-care teams to implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.
