Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Nevada City, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-site 8-week assignment with night shifts. The role requires CA RN license, BLS, and at least one year of recent nursing experience in a correctional/clinical setting.

You will assess patients, administer meds, document EMR entries, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Travel stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license in good standing (unrestricted).
• At least 1 year of nursing experience within the last 3 years.
• Current BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Additional certifications may be required.
• Provide PSV from licensing board if required.
• Provide current certifications and compliance documents (BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or client-specific requirements).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and discharge instructions.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety.
