Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Denver, Colorado seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess patients, administer medications, monitor progress, and coordinate care within a secure correctional health setting.

Qualifications

• Current, valid CO RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience within the last 3 years.
• PSV from licensing board if required.
• Current BLS certification and immunization records per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
• Perform wound care and IV therapy within scope of practice.
• Maintain compliant EMR documentation.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care with safety and quality focus.
